Arguments - covid-19

Importance of good arguments

The people need to form clear, concise, and effective arguments against mandates.
Convincing "on-the-fence" people is more a matter of not exposing yourself to be an ignorant ass than to have amazing arguments.
This section is ammunition you can use in debate.

Please refrain from using arguments like "5G", biblical passages, or making ridiculous unprovable claims.
These only make the pro-vaccine crowd more firm in their stance.

We need to make arguments that target irrationalities in the pro-vaccine stance.
See below for examples of these.

"Protecting Others"

The most important argument to debunk is that of protecting others. This is the only reason that the vaccine could ever logically be considered as "mandate-able". First off, the polio and smallpox vaccines are mandated and mandate-able because they actually kill the virus. People will attack you and say, "So you're against the polio and smallpox vaccine mandates, too?" Regardless of your stance on these vaccines, simply address the previous stated fact that these vaccines actually kill the virus they are supposed to kill. The COVID-19 vaccine not only allows you to carry it and transmit it but this also opens it up to the possibility of creating mutations. Mutations don't gain strength until the main strain is severely weakened. This is basic evolutionary theory. When the strongest, or main strain, is weakened, this allows the previously repressed variations to gain the "space" they need to succeed evolutionarily. This is not limited to evolutionary biology either. The same mechanic can be seen everywhere throughout nature, including man-made systems such as markets. When something attacks a strong company, this simply opens up opportunity for previously "boxed-out" smaller corporations to potentially take over its spot. Imagine if Amazon was destroyed overnight. There would be a mad scramble for the next company up to take its spot, as the market demand for Amazon is self-evident. Its one of the most fundamental principles in reality. Its capitalism. Organism's ( biological or man-made ) grow in a winner takes all manner. Its the reason why capitalism actually works, its a fundamental part of our universe. Unfortunately capitalism becomes unfair when the corporations can also purchase overreaching government favors. Ok we're getting off topic. The point is, a vaccine that does not kill the virus causes more harm than good. We can see this without even considering the proven corruption of the government. One such scientific study (from 2015) addresses this: Imperfect Vaccination Can Enhance the Transmission of Highly Virulent Pathogens Another: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/science/tthis-chicken-vaccine-makes-virus-dangerous These studies/articles serve as evidence that it was long known that leaky vaccines actually lead to increased virulence. The important takeaway is that the vaccinated actually carry the stronger variants that kill off the unvaccinated when in contact
