Access Command Palette
Easiest way to find what you need:
/
Fade Border to Transparent
1. Add Alpha Channel
2. Select -> All (Ctrl+A)
3. Select -> Shrink (however deep you want to make it)
4. Select -> Feather (probably around the value that shrink was plus some)
5. Clear (Delete)
6. Repeat as many times as necessary with various values to reach your desired outcome
Convert Image To Pencil Drawn Look
1. Create 2 duplicate layers
2. On the first layer (top-most), Colors -> Hue-Saturation -> Set Saturation to -100
3. Change the mode (layers panel) from Normal to Saturation
4. Select 2nd layer
5. Change the mode (layers panel) to Dodge
6. Click Colors -> Invert
7. Click Filters -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur
8. Choose best looking blur radius
9. Select 3rd layer
10. Click Colors -> Levels
11. Drag middle and last triangle in Input Levels to desired
That's it!
Outline Transparent PNG with border
1. Select layer with image and transparency
2. Alpha To selection
3. Select -> Grow ( ~ 4px maybe much more )
4. Create a new layer and move it to the bottom (but above any background layer)
5. Select the fill tool and color and fill in the selection on that newly created layer
Funky colors
1. Do conversion to pencil drawing
2. Add outline with other steps
3. Select the very 1st (or top-most layer)
4. Fill entire layer with background color
Diamond effect
1. Do conversion to pencil drawing
2. Add outline
3. Select 2nd layer (2nd from top)
4. Filters -> Artistic -> Cubism
5. Mess with params
